This course will cover the beginner to advance requirements to get Mikrotik MTCNA. This is the primary level of certification that must be obtained if you're looking to pursue the more advanced certifications. As this is the part 1 of the MikroTik professional series other parts will be updated soon
You will even be conversant in all the features of Mikrotik and the way to configure them for many networks. We will be fixing and configuring the firewall filter rules, nat rules, Queues. This course will cover the basics of networking including the OSI model intimately and Ipv4 networks intimately. More basic fixing and configuration of the Mikrotik routers.
You will learn in this course many different topics such as knowing the different type of RouterBoards products,
what is RouterOS, how to get 1staccess to the MikroTik router using Winbox, Telnet and SSH, how to configure the router to provide internet access to inside users,
how to do backup and restore of the configuration, how to re-flash the MikroTik RouterOS, what are the different licenses levels available in MikroTik and much more than that.
Skill Gained + LAB's
Manage and configure MikroTik routers. From Basic configuration to more advanced bandwidth and traffic flow configurations
- Understand what is MikroTik and where it is located
- Know how to get 1st access on the MikroTik router using WebFig
- Understand the usage of the Winbox utility to connect to the router via MAC address
- Be able to troubleshoot internet connection problem on your MikroTik router and your LAN PC
- Understand the function of the RouterBOOT & how you can upgrade it
- Understand the difference between RouterOS and RouterBOARD
- Understand how to use Netinstall to reflash the MikroTik RouterOS
Requirements
Basic networking knowledge would be a good advantage but not required.
